| Abstract: | During the May Fourth Period in Hunan Province,the reasons for prosperity of the newspapers and periodicals are as the following four respects:first,the undulation of the society and administration;second,the prosperity and development of economy in partial areas;third,the influence and impetus of the revolution tide at home and abroad;and last the emphasis on the press posed by the higher intellectuals. |
