产业的演进是以其内部企业的动态演变为标志的:在某个时刻,一些企业进入,而另一些企业则退出;一些企业成长,而另一些企业则消亡;产业内企业的边界和内部组织结构等也在不断发生变化。以往的文献研究了产业成长中兴起、发展和衰落的动态过程,但并未具体分析产业变迁过程中的结构特点和组织形式。产业成长的内在机理究竟如何?它与技术创新、产业组织和市场结构等又有何联系?本文回顾了产业生命周期(ILC)理论的相关论著,试图从微观角度入手回答上述问题。

Innovation and Evolution of Industrial Qrganization: A Survey of Theory of Industrial Life Cycle

The evolution of industries is symbolized by the dynamic evolution of its internal enterprises.Some enterprises enter an industry,while some exit;some enterprises grow,while some vanish.In the mean time,the boundaries and organizational structures of enterprises in an industry are also continuingly changing.Former literatures studied the dynamic growth process of an industry,while leaving its structural characteristics and organizational forms in this process untouched.What is the internal mechanism of industrial evolution,and how is it connected to technological innovations,industrial organizations and market structures? This paper reviews related works on ILC theory,and try to answer the questions above from a microeconomic view.
