父母外出对留守儿童健康的影响

儿童的健康不仅能衡量经济发展,还密切地联系着其成年后的健康、教育和收入。利用中国健康与营养调查数据(CHNS),本文研究父母外出对我国留守儿童健康的影响。我们的结果显示仅母亲外出及父母均外出的留守儿童生病或患慢性病的概率较父母均在家的儿童分别增加2.76%和3.82%,增加幅度分别为52%和71%,而仅父亲外出对留守儿童健康的影响不显著。留守儿童这一不利处境提示我们,我国政府应积极采取措施减小父母外出给留守儿童健康带来的影响。

The Health of Left-Behind Children in Rural China
