中美、日美纺织品贸易摩擦比较及其启示

基于对日美、中美纺织品贸易摩擦状况的回顾,本文提出在贸易摩擦中提高产业国际竞争力,利用贸易摩擦推动国内产业结构升级,借鉴日本贸易谈判应对经验,抵制贸易摩擦给人民币升值和资本市场开放带来的压力,更多地运用世贸组织等多边贸易摩擦解决机制等建议。

Trade Frictions in Textile Industry between the USA and Japan and that between USA and China: Comparison and Implications

After reviewing the trade frictions in the textile industry between the United States and Japan and that between the United States and China, this paper explores respectively the similarities and differences of the trade frictions involved in these two situations. Accordingly, suggestions are put forward: trade frictions can help improve an industry's international competitiveness and facilitate upgrading domestic industrial structure. By learning from Japan the negotiation experience in trade frictions, we can resist the pressure of RMB appreciation and capital market opening resulting from trade frictions. We should make more effective use of the multilateral trade frictions resolution mechanisms such as WTO to solve the trade problems.
