高等学校与社会和谐

高等学校的文化特性使它成为一个不同于一般社会形态的特殊社会群体。但在现代社会,这个特殊的社会群体如果不能主动地和一般的社会形态相互作用,相互促进,则势必丧失自己的文化功能和社会地位,最终被社会所淘汰。市场经济的产生与发展为高等学校创造了这种相互作用,相互促进的极好条件和机会。高等学校应主动的参与这种作用和促进,以使自己的文化功能得到充分地发挥和发展。在这种相互作用、相互促进的过程中,高等学校和社会和谐了,高等学校的文化功能也变成了社会生产力。但高等学校本身的文化特性却改变了,它要求高等学校在自己文化底蕴的基础上与社会和谐地解决自己的本身问题和社会问题。

Higher Education Institutions and Social Harmony

The cultural character of higher education institutions makes HEI become a particular social colony which different from general social forms.But in modern society the particular social colony if not actively combined with general social crowds in their mutual action and mutual promotion,HEI would lose their cultural function and social location and be further eliminated through social selection.Market economy's emergence and development created perfect conditions and chances for HEI.In order to develop cultural function,HEI would actively participate in their action and promotion,so that HEI are harmonious with society and make their cultural function to become social production force.But the cultural character of HEI is changed,it would ask for HEI to harmoniously solve the problems of themselves and social problems with social crowds on the HEI' s cultural base.
