| Abstract: | In the contemporary literary world of Taiwan, a number of active writers have close relationship with Chongqing. One kind are Xue Fei, Xue Lin etc. , who come from Chongqing; other kind are Liang Shiqiu, Yu Guangzhong and so on who are exiled in the period of Anti Japanese war. The two kinds of writers both exile in Taiwan because of vicissitudes of 1949 in mainland China. Despite they separate with their families for a long time, they always have deep memories of Chongqing and thick Bayu feelings in the writer＇ s mind. Thus, affectionate writing of Chongqing landscape has become a prominent phenomenon in contemporary Taiwan literature. Study of the literary image plays an important role to promote cultural exchanges between Chongqing and Taiwan and cross-strait harmony and unity. |
