关于人文学术的学术性问题

本文从反思中国现代人文学术的发展状况入手，提出人文学术的学术性问题。作者通过对传统、20世纪前半叶，以及最近60年相关学术状况的对比，认为人们对最近30年人文学术现状的不满，原因不在于它对古典人文传统继承不足，而在于不同于传统的现代人文学术刨造的缺乏。根本问题在于缺少深刻的、有创造性的学理发明。文章以吏学、哲学中的案例，表明超越传统的必要性，同时也分析了传统考据话语的作用与限制，并简略勾勒出学理性话语的特征。

Scholarship in Humanitarian Studies

This paper aims to raise the issue of scholarship in humanitarian studies. To start with, the author reflects on the development of modern humanitarian studies in China. Comparisons are made between traditional scholarship, the scholarship of the first half of the twen-tieth century, and the scholarship of the last sixty years. The author argues that public dissatis- faction to the scholarly development of the last thirty years is due not to its insufficient connec- tion with the classical tradition, but rather to its lack of originality in modern scholarship. The fundamental question is the lack of profound and ingenious theoretical inventions. Examples from historical and philosophical studies show that the traditional method of exegesis has its mitations, and that tradition should be transcended. At the end, the author outlines the major features for what modern scholarship should look like.
