| Abstract: | A model of competition in a market is given when product differentiation occurs. Weighting factors are introduced in both demand and cost functions. The dynamics of the system are studied under the assumptions of Cournot and Stackelberg strategies. The effects of the weighting factors upon stability are specifically studied in some detail. |
