The social networks transition of rural workers who moving into urban areas

This paper adopts systematical research methods to study the re-organization of social networks of urban peasant workers. Along with the living means transition from agriculture production into non-agriculture production, urban peasant workers are now establishing their new social relationships on the basis of employment ties, which have become an important part of their social networks. These social networks that have been gradually established by urban peasant workers themselves are now becoming their crucial capital for their living and development in urban areas.
