湖北省2008年生态足迹与生态承载力分析

为了解湖北省域范围内社会经济活动造成的生态压力和自然生态体系的承载力，通过运用生态足迹计算模型．计算出湖北省2008年人均生态足迹为2．5670hm2／人，人均实际可利用生态承载力为0．5938hm2／人，人均生态赤字达1．9732hm2／人。分析表明，湖北省2008年的生态足迹已远远超出生态承载力，社会经济发展处于不可持续的状态，应引起足够的重视。

Analysis of Ecological Footprint and Ecological Capacity of Hubei Province in 2008

In order to evaluate development sustainability of Hubei provincial territory by a comparison of the ecological stress to the capacity of natural ecosystem, this paper takes a snapshot of Hubei provincial ecological footprint by the year of 2008, based on the ecological footprint computation model. The calculation results show that the per capita ecological footprint of Hubei province in 2008 was 2.5670 hm2/person, and available per capita ecological capacity was 0.5938hm2/person. The gap between the ecological footprint and the ecological capacity represents a per capita ecological deficit of 1.9732hm2/person, which means human activities impose a higher burden than what the ecosystem can support. In conclusion, the socio-economic development in Hubei province is in an unsustainable status, for which more attention has to be paid.
