| Abstract: | Brazil is rich in hydropower, yet its main hydropower resources to be developed are concentrated in the west and northwest part of the country, far from the economic and load centers in the southeast, which necessitates long-distance and large-scale power transmission. As the Brazilian government promotes construction of power transmission projects, there will be tremendous opportunities for related investment. This paper explores the investment opportunities brought about by Brazil＇ s ten-year plan for power grid construction and provides information for Chinese companies for overseas investment. |
