摘    要:与传统的教学模式相比,多媒体教学新颖、高效、灵活多变,提高了课堂学习效率,改善了教学资源环境;但大学英语多媒体教学也有其不足,建构主义教学理论作为国际教育改革的一种新的主流思想,对传统意义上的学习和教学理论提出了挑战,强调学习是学习者积极主动地根据已有的认知结构,借助于环境和他人的帮助,通过独特的信息加工,建构当前事物意义的过程,为当前我国大学英语教学改革和素质教育提供了重要的理论依据,同时也为解决大学英语多媒体教学中存在的问题提供了启示。

Abstract:Compared with traditional teaching mode,multi-media English teaching enhances classroom learning efficiency and provides more abundant teaching resources with its novelty,high-efficiency and flexibility,but it has its shortcomings.As a new mainstream theory of international education reform,Constructivist theory challenges the traditional teaching theory by emphasizing learning is an active process of creating meaning from different experiences.In other words,students will learn best by trying to make sense of something on their own with the teacher as a guide to help them along the way.It provides important theoretical basis for college English teaching reform and quality-oriented education and sheds some light on the solution of some problems in multi-media English teaching.
