| Abstract: | Concerning the exceptional events on supply chain, the essay makes a study on the arising and evolution of the supply chain event management (SCEM), suggesting that it is not only a kind of technique but also a methodology of process improvement. The essay also elaborates how to apply and implement the SCEM method in business operation in purpose of improving the performance of supply chain. |
