Survey of Aluminum Residues in Food in Yuyang District from 2018 to 2020

Objective:To understand the excessive aluminum content of food in Yuyang District,and to provide a scientific basis for strengthening the supervision and control of food chemical contaminants.Method:Analyze and summarize the results of the food safety supervision and sampling inspections in Yuyang from 2018 to 2020,and analyze the information of unqualified items of aluminum residues.Test according to the method of GB 5009.182—2017,according to GB 2762—2017,GB 2760—2014 and Announcement of the National Health and Family Planning Commission on Approvingβ-Galactosidase as a New Food Additive,etc.Evaluation.Results:From the overall sampling inspections in the past three years,the unqualified aluminum residues are mainly concentrated in starch and starch products(vermicelli,vermicelli,jelly),fried noodle products,other processed food products(baozi,steamed bread),and cakes..From the perspective of unqualified items,it is mainly the over-range and over-limit of aluminum-containing food additives.Conclusion:The relatively high amount of aluminum residues in flour-based products in Yuyang District is mainly related to the use of aluminum-containing food additives in traditional processes.Local regulatory authorities should pay attention and strengthen targeted sampling of high-risk foods.
