摘    要:对由弱透水表土层、细砂层和强透水砂砾层组成的三层堤基进行了管涌发展的砂槽模型试验,观察并分析了管涌发生、发展并导致溃堤的机理和过程。试验结果表明,强透水砂砾层的存在将使堤基管涌破坏的水平平均临界比降降低,当细砂层相对于砂砾层的厚度较薄时这种影响会很大,试验得到的最小值为0·078,而且堤基管涌发展的机理与双层堤基有很大区别。

Abstract:Flume model tests are conducted to study the development processes of piping in three-stratum dike foundations. The whole development processes from piping incipit to dike failure are observed and their mechanisms are analysed. From the tests it can be concluded that the average critical horizontal seepage gradient of dike foundation will be decreased when there exist sand gravel layer. This effect will be exaggerated when the thickness of fine sand layer is smaller than that of sand gravel layer. Maximum value of average critical horizontal seepage gradient from the tests is 0.078. Piping development mechanisms in three-stratum dike foundations are quite different from that in two-stratum dike foundations.
