| 摘 要： | 林语堂先生在《生活的艺术》中以译写结合的方式传承中国文化,并获得了成功。他打破了传统翻译形式规则,灵活运用节译、摘译、编译等翻译变体,使译写完美地结合。通过对《生活的艺术》中的翻译变体进行分析,说明多样的翻译形式和灵活的翻译方法使译写能够相辅相成。林语堂先生这种英文创作形式不失为传播中国文化的一种有效途径。
