Brief discussion on the creative economy of modern city

This paper discusses the essence of the creative economy from the point of view of the evolvement of the form of urban economy. It contends that the creative economy is the advanced form that obeys to the intrinsic rules of the evolvement of urban economy. In the following, it further analyzes the contributions that the creative economy bring to the development of urban economy in terms of spatial resource, industry structure, urban function, creativity talents, resources and environment, etc.. Meanwhile, it puts forward approaches to modern city development.
