自建国以来 ,我国本专科教育大致经历了三个不同的发展历史时期。相对于本科教育而言 ,专科教育的优势不应仅仅是学制短、从而能较快地满足社会对高级专门人才的“急需”,而是一线应用性人才培养上的不可替代性 ;本科教育的优势在于能把理论教育与应用性教育紧密地结合起来 ,为人才的进一步发展提供多种选择。在新的发展历史时期里 ,我国本专科教育将出现分化与趋同统一的趋势

A Comparative Study of Normal Undergraduate Education and Specialized Education in China

Three periods have been passed in normal undergraduate education and specialized education since the founding of our People's Republic of China. The advantage of specialized education may lie not only in meeting the needs of our country for higher special talents during a shorter period, but also in no substituting for developing the line practical talents. The advantage of normal undergraduate education can make choices for students based on its combining training students' theoretical ability with doing their practical ability. It is a trend that occurs to be diversity or comprehensive at the same time between normal undergraduate education and special education in a new stage.
