工业化与英国妇女发展的再研究

19世纪40年代英国工业革命基本完成,这一进程给英国妇女的发展带来了机遇与挑战。工业化为英国妇女提供了投身社会化生产的环境,为妇女解放提供了前提,为女权运动的开展提供了良好的基础。但是,妇女就业的边缘化低层化,工作稳定性差,工作强度大报酬偏低等,都是妇女获得经济独立时付出的代价。

The Industrialization and British Women's Development Opportunities and Challenges

In 1840s,the British Industrial Revolution had basically been finished.This processbrought opportunities and challenges to British women's development.The industrialization offered the enviroment for the British women to join the social production,made the premise for women's liberation,and provided a good basis for launching the feminist movement.But the women had to pay the price while they obtained economic independence.That was the marginalization and loweration of women's employment,the poor job stability,the high work intensity,and low reward.
