Promotion of high-speed railway to regional economic coordinated development

From the reality of economic and social development of China, this paper described the significance of coordinated development of regional economic. We discussed the active role of high-speed railway construction, including： ensuring smooth flow of inter-regional transport, achieving sustainable development of regional economy, promoting the rapid flow of production factors and the transfer of industries, optimizing resource allocation and the formation of new industrial belt, promoting local economic development, raising the level of modern service industries such as trade, tourism and real estate.
