集聚经济对外商直接投资地区分布影响的实证研究——以江苏主要城市为例

外商直接投资区位选择一直是理论界关注的焦点。文章分析了江苏省各城市近几年的外商投资分布,用集聚经济的思想来解释这种分布现象。然后,选取了9个具有代表性的指标进行了因子分析和回归分析,对上述解释进行了进一步的实证分析,结果表明:代表产业内集聚经济和示范效应的因子和代表城市发展水平对外资支撑程度的城市化集聚经济因子都对外商直接投资的地区分布产生影响,前者的影响程度要远大于后者。

An Empirical Analysis of the Agglomeration Economy on the Regional Distribution of FDI

The choice of FDI location has never failed to lose its attention from the scholars. Recent academic research has focused on the effect of agglomeration economies on the space distribution of FDI. Taking Jiang-su Province as an example, this article exploits the FDI distribution between and within cities in the latest years, and then chooses 9 typical indexes at city level to empirically analysis the effects of agglomeration economy with the method of factor analysis and OLS regression analysis. The finding shows that the agglomeration economy due to urban development and the agglomeration economies due to industry cluster both have positive effect on the FDI location pattern, but the effect of the former is larger than the latter.
