The Fur Materials Trade by Yanghang in Tianjin in Modern China

Yanghang(foreign companies) is the special social issue in the semi-feudal and semi-colonial society.It is the consequence of the invasion into China by imperial powers and is eliminated as those powers are driven out of China.As one of the major business ports in northern China,Tianjin used to be the home to several hundred Yanghang.Relying on the capital advantage and the protection of unequal treaties,Yanghang extends itself into the inner land to rob the fur materials.In the several decades,Yanghang has grabbed large quantities of fur materials,hindering the development of China's leather industry and fur textiles industry.
