人民币国际化的理论分析及战略思考--基于人民币周边流通的分析

2003年人民币周边流通总量约1510亿元。人民币周边流通仅仅是货币国际化中的初级阶段；货币国际化需要严格的条件，而且必须承受放弃本国货币政策独立性的代价。应进一步创造人民币国际化的条件，有序推进人民币国际化。

On RMB's Evolution to International Currency

The paper firstly makes an analysis of the channels of RMB's circulation abroad and then estimates its accumulation in the neighboring countries or areas. It argues that RMB's circulation in the adjacent countries is only at the primary phase leading to international status which requires strict prerequisites including giving up its independent policy for the domestic currency. The paper suggests that conditions should be created for RMB's evolution to international currency.
