交通基础设施建设对经济发展的影响——基于新疆各地州市面板数据分析

随着“丝绸之路经济带”核心区的建立，新疆地区的交通瓶颈问题日益突出，研究交通基础设施建设与南北疆经济发展的不平衡性之间的关系显得尤为重要。本文基于固定效应模型，对2001—2017年新疆15个地州市的面板数据进行实证研究，研究结果显示:交通运输投资对新疆地区的经济增长具有显著的促进作用，其中对北疆的经济促进作用要明显高于整体和南疆，非农产业比重和国际贸易水平对经济增长的促进作用在北疆明显高于南疆，而城市化率对南疆经济发展的影响较大。基于此，本文认为合理规划投资南北疆交通基础设施建设，加快南疆地区的城镇化建设进程以及招商引资，对于促进新疆地区经济发展具有重要意义。

Influences of Transportation Infrastructure Construction on Economic Development

The traffic bottleneck in Xinjiang has become increasingly prominent with the establishment of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. It is particularly important to study the relationship between the construction of transportation infrastructure and the imbalance of economic development in northern and southern Xinjiang. Based on the fixed effect model, this paper empirically studies the panel data of 15 prefectures and cities in Xinjiang from 2001 to 2017. The results show that transportation investment plays a significant role in promoting economic growth in Xinjiang. Among them, the role of economic promotion in northern Xinjiang is significantly higher than that in the southern even whole Xinjiang, and the proportion of non-agricultural industries and the level of international trade have obviously higher effect in promoting economic growth in northern Xinjiang than in southern Xinjiang. The urbanization rate has a greater impact on the economic development of southern Xinjiang. Therefore, it is of great significant for Xinjiang to promote economic development by planning and investing rationally in transportation infrastructure construction in northern and southern Xinjiang, and speeding up the urbanization process in southern Xinjiang and attracting investment.
