论我国西部旅游远程教育体系的构建

旅游行业是个实践性和创新性很强的行业 ,随着其深入发展 ,对专业人才的需要也越来越迫切。虽然旅游业竞争的形式多种多样 ,但归根结底都将涉及旅游人才的竞争。西部地区是我国旅游资源最为丰富的地区 ,也是发展旅游业前景最为广阔的地区 ,面对西部大开发和中国加入WTO的机遇和挑战 ,旅游教育对西部旅游发展的重要性日益凸现。与传统的旅游教育方式相比 ,利用远程开展旅游教育在西部地区更具有优势。本文试图通过对旅游学科及远程教育特点的分析 ,初步构建西部旅游远程教育体系

On the Establishment of Tourism Distance Education System in China''''s Western Region

Tourism Industry is a strong practical and innovative trade.More and more professionals are urgently needed now.Though the forms of competition are diversified,it is,in the final analysis,concerned with the competition of tourism talents.China's western region boasts abundant tourism resources and enjoys bright prospect of developing tourism industry.With the great development of western region and the opportunities and challenges following China's accession into WTO,the importance of tourism education to tourism development is getting increasingly prominent.Compared with the traditional tourism education modes,distance education enjoys more advantages in western region.This paper,through the analysis of the characteristics of tourism discipline and distance education,tries to build a preliminary distance education system in western region.
