As a new type of new venture creation and international organization, international new venture challenges the traditional internationalization theory, which traditionally conceptualized internationalization of the firm as an incremental process involving a varying number of stages. Based on the perspective of international entrepreneurship, this article explores the start-up and growth mechanism of international new venture from entrepreneurial opportunity, explains the sources of entrepreneurial opportunity of international new venture and the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and development process, the factors that influence the process are also discussed.
