On Definition of the Given Value to the Index in Evaluating the Benefit of Journals of Science and Technology

The paper is a companion piece with The Index System Eyaluating the Benefit ofthc Journals of Science and Technology and its establishment. we mainly discuss the six princi-ples on the definition of the index given values and on the comparison of the importance of thedetinition of the standard factors and examine the contribution of the factor's numerical valueand the correction cocfficicnt and the calculation of the idcal evaluating value and the calcula-tion of thc judging matrix concerning the first-class index layer of the fifth-class journals.
