| 摘 要： | 经济空间格局一直是经济地理学的研究核心,一个区域经济空间格局的合理与否将直接影响到区域经济的发展。西部大开发战略实施以来,西部地区在社会经济取得巨大成就的同时,经济发展水平与全国平均水平的差距仍在拉大。可见,西部地区的经济空间布局还有待进一步完善。在已有研究的基础上,分析我国西部地区经济格局现状以及其存在的问题,研究和探讨如何优化西部地区的经济空间格局,从而推进西部地区经济持续发展、缩小其与全国差距。研究结果建议,在未来进一步深入推进西部开发中,继续实施"以线串点、以点带面"的空间战略,重点建设北部湾经济区、关中—天水经济区、成渝黔经济区、呼包鄂榆经济区、天山北坡经济区、兰州—西宁经济区,以及昆明—瑞丽国际通道。
