On the Reform and Development of University Academic Journals

This paper first introduces the present situation of the development of university academic journals： the impact of brand journals, each doing things in his own way, closed publication content, small circulation, the loss of reader groups. Responding to it, this paper points out countermeasures to future reform of university academic journals and the development direction including attaching importance to science and technology frontier constantly, developing preponderant discipline, cultivating professional talents, establishing author team and special column with characteristics and making full use of network technology.
