迎评促建,为学校跨越式发展夯实基础

国家教育部推出的5年一轮的高等学校评估,是高等学校“质量工程”的重要内容,也是促进学校发展的重要机遇。本文结合教育部2003年11月对首都经济贸易大学进行的本科教学工作水平评估,提出要明确评估的根本目的,把“以评促建、以评促改、以评促管、评建结合、重在建设”的指导思想贯彻评估工作的始终。评估工作是一项系统工程,一定要全面动员、全员参与,充分调动全校师生员工的积极性。评估工作工程繁杂量大,一定要制定科学的工作计划,掌握节奏、张驰适度。

The Making of a Solid Foundation for Rapid Development--On the Evaluation of Higher Education

As part of the "Quality Project", Chinese Ministry of Education has implemented a new policy of quality evaluation on all higher institutes by rotation on a five - year basis, which likewise offers important opportunities for the development of the institutes. Based on the evaluation of the educational work of the Capital University of Economics and Business in Nov. 2003, this paper points out that we must grasp the key purpose of this policy, and go on carrying out the guideline: " to promote the establishment of a scientific educational system, the educational reform, and the administration through the evaluation, stressing the establishment of the system. "As this is a systematic project with considerable work to be done, it is important for us to lay scientific plans for it, and involve all the students, faculty and staff in it.
