Abstract:This article summarizes the state of the art of industrial marketing research in India. It covers the orientations of organizations toward marketing research, the dominant profile of the current marketing research activities, and the experiences and efforts in information collection. The article highlights the emerging trends that will accelerate the acceptance of marketing research in India.
