| Abstract: | Approaching King Lear from the angle of paradox and irony,this article attempts to discuss their consummate usage on the level of traditional rhetoric,imagery of characters and theme. The synthetic usage of the paradox and irony on different levels succeeds in creating the unbounded exuberance of production of meaning,granting readers the wonderful aestheits experience that the limited words create boundless meaning. |
