Abstract:In order to control the leaf structure index after the stem separation in an appropriate range to meet the requirements of the quality stability of cigarette raw materials, the combination design of the frame basket of the first and second-stage threshers,the combination of hexagonal and rhombic frame baskets of different sizes was selected for the first-stage thresher, the combined design of 3.0-inch hexagonal frame basket and two kinds of rhombic frame baskets was selected for the second-stage thresher,and the influence of different frame shapes and sizes on leaf blade structure index and shape was studied. The results show that the combination design of 3.5-inch hexagon frame basket and 3.25-inch rhombic frame basket was used in the first-stage thresher, and the 2.25-inch rhombic frame basket was used in the second-stage thresher. The index of leaf structure is improved significantly and the percentage of large-sized strips can be controlled below 45%, the medium-sized strips percentage was controlled above 40%, the stem percentage in leaves was controlled within 1.2%, and the shape of tobacco leaves tends to be more regular, which can meet the new requirements of the leaf structure of cigarette raw materials in tobacco industry.The research results can provide a reference for tobacco enterprises to optimize the threshing and redrying process.
