The Issue of RMB Exchange Rate:Analysis of the Transmission Channels of International Pressure

For the purpose of their domestic political interest,the developed countries such as the U.S.A and Japan impose great pressure on China,demanding the appreciation of RMB and the increase in the flexibility of RMB exchange rate regime.The regulation of RMB exchange rate regime suffered great international pressure.The developed countries impose pressure on China through such channels as accusing China of manipulating exchange rate,internationalizing RMB exchange rate regime by taking advantage of multilateral mechanism,applying their domestic political rules and procedure,,resorting to diplomatic means and channels,making use of the media to control public opinions etc.Comprehensive analysis of the transmission channels of international pressure is helpful for us to eliminate international pressure and keep our leading role in the reform and adjustment of RMB exchange rate regime.
