An Analysis of Japanese Tourism Economy

Tourism is an emerging industry with high value adding, high employment, high foreign exchange revenue and high profit. These features have made the industry increasingly important in international economy. Most countries are actively promoting the industrialization of tourism, expecting it to function as a key industry which may fuel their economic development. Japanese tourism industry has been developed for a comparatively long period, its experiences and lessons may provide important implications for the developing Chinese tourism industry.
