The Artistic Quality and Historical Influence of Five Comic Stars in Jiaxing

Jiaxing, as the birthplace of Majiabang culture, spawned comics with the rice life and small rivers, which is consistent with the principles of ecology and sociology. Only during half a century, there emerged a number of comic masters, such as Feng Zikai, Shen Bochen, Wang Yiliu, Mi Gu, and Zhang Leping, namely Jiaxing Comic Five Stars.
