Reflections on the Social Duty for Financial Enterprises under Global Financial Crisis

The financial institutions will undoubtedly assume major responsibilities for the occurrence of the global fi- nancial crisis. From the perspective of corporate social duty, the performance of the Wall Street financial firms and their executives in this financial crisis is not brilliant. The crisis tells us that because of its unique characteristics different from the general enterprises, financial companies need more stringent social duty; and that financial entre- preneurs should also have the sense of social duty. Therefore, we should ponder this in a comprehensive way from the legislative, community and enterprise levels.
