As a cutural symbol,the cultural images contain profound cultural deposits of a nation,and possess relatively fixed and unique cultural implications.Thus,they have always pose difficult problems in the translation.By applying Eugene.A.Nida＇s translation theory,the dynamic equivalence translation,to the translation of cultural images,and with the adoption of different translation methods,such as the literal translation,the free translation and the literal translation with notes,the translators can smoothly transmit the cultural deposits embodied in the cultural images of the source language,and thus reduce the disnature,the dislocation,and the distortion of the cultural images during the translation process.
