全球大都市城际信息网络的测度及其社会经济意义研究

全球化视角下,城市间频繁且巨量的信息交互承载了丰富的社会经济内涵。以Globalization and World Cities公布的2018年世界级城市名录中55个Alpha级城市为基础,编写Python程序完成了基于谷歌搜索的上述城市城际信息网络构建和测度,并以此为基础进一步研究了全球视角下城市信息流总量的社会经济意义及城际信息流量与区域发展水平的联系。一方面通过回归算法,验证了城市信息流总量与其人口、GDP增速、高级服务型跨国公司机构数量、生活消费水平、旅游业规模等指标显著相关;另一方面,通过社会网络分析的方法,从中心性、聚类系数等角度分析了全球大都市城际信息网络与区域发展水平之间的内在联系,证明了城际信息网络在研究全球城市及区域发展和联系中的重要意义。研究结论为研究城市影响力和城际关系开辟了一条新的道路。

Measurement of the Inter-city Information Network of Global Metropolises and the Study of Its Socio-economic Significance

From the perspective of globalization,frequent and massive information exchange between cities carries rich social and economic connotations.Based on 55 Alpha-level cities noted in the“classification of cities 2018”published by Globalization and World Cities,this paper writes a python program to complete the construction and measurement of the above-mentioned metropolises’inter-city information network based on Google,and further studies on the socio-economic significance of the total amount of city information flow and the link between inter-city information flow and regional development level from a global perspective.On the one hand,through the regression algorithm,it is verified that the total amount of city information flow is significantly related to its population,GDP growth rate,the number of high-end service multinational corporations,the level of living consumption,and the scale of tourism;on the other hand,the method of social network analysis,from the perspective of centrality and clustering coefficient,analyzes the intrinsic relationship between metropolitan inter-city information network and regional development level,and proves the significance of inter-city information network in the study of global city and regional development and linkage.It has opened up a new path for studying city influence and inter-city relations.
