The spatial morphology and landscape of town settlement in the north of Guangxi

This paper contends that the spatial morphology of the north of Guangxi Province is the result of many aspects that work together in a specified natural environment and an economic and cultural context.The main contents and the key approaches to keep up and carry forward the features and styles of small towns are to shape specialized and sustainable town settlement morphology.By analyzing the factors that have impacts on spatial morphology and landscape pattern,this paper points out that it is the approach to realize the sustainable development of town spatial morphology of the completeness of ecological landscape,the successiveness of the spatial development,the organic nature of spatial elements and the human virtue of spatial morphology.
