| 摘 要： | 阅读能力的培养是大学英语教学的主要任务,而大学英语教学的终极目标是培养学生的交际能力。本文试图从阅读的心理认知过程及造成阅读理解失败的成因分析入手,探索如何在阅读教学中提高学生的交际能力。

| Abstract: | The main task of College English Teaching is to foster the students, reading ability with the ultimate aim of developing their communicative competence. The paper presented here is intended to make an analysis of reading cognitive process and the causes of the failure in the reading comprehension. Some sugesstions have been made on how to improve the students' communicative competence. |
