| Abstract: | The German sub-national government bond market has an early start and is well established, which has played an important role in reinforcing the fiscal position of German sub-national governments. This article describes the characteristics of German sub-national government bond market development and its role in government debt marketization, and summarizes its implications for the initial development of China＇s local government bond market. |
