Tourist Resources and Development in Northwest Yunnan

This paper introduces the special characteristics and types of the main natural and cultural tourist resources in northwest Yunnan. In particular, the various projects of development of tourist resources, such as forest, scientific research trips, trips to see animals and plants in the wild, physical education and health care, and ethnic customs are covered. The paper also investigates policies for development and the measures which should be adopted for conservation.
