英语语法教学中的开放性思维

摘    要:本文讨论了当今英语语法教学中的开放性思维特征:在对语法教学重要性的认识上,人们突破了语法本身而将它与学习者的相关因素联系起来;在内容上更具包容性,英语口语语法开始受到关注;在方法上也超越了过去的简单化,语法规则与意义开始有机结合。最后,文章用三F模式描述当今英语语法教学的新特征:Flexibility(态度灵活)—Factualism(尊重事实)—Functionalism(主张功用)。

Abstract:This paper argues that open thinking is widely reflected in today's EFL/ESL grammar teaching. Firstly, many factors connected with learners are believed to play a role in evaluating the importance of grammar teaching. Secondly, the teaching attention is now paid not only to the written English grammar but also to the spoken English grammar. Thirdly, there is a tendency of combining grammar with meaning. The paper describes the above new thinking pattern in the English grammar teaching with three Fs, i.e. Flexibility-Factualism-Functionalism.
