东中西部高等职业教育协调均衡发展研究

经过十几年的探索与实践,我国高等职业教育取得了长足的发展,但东中西部不同地区存在发展不协调、水平不均衡的问题。东部地区高等职业教育发展较快,总体优势突出,中部地区发展速度一般,西部地区则相对滞后。文章通过对目前东中西部高等职业院校数量分布与办学水平情况的分析,就如何建立与推进东中西部高职院校间区域内和跨区域合作,进一步促进东中西部高等职业教育协调均衡发展提出对策与建议。

On Coordinated and Balanced Development of Higher Vocational Education among Eastern, Central and Western Regions of China

After over a decade of exploration and practice, higher vocational education in China has made considerable development. However, there exist such problems as uncoordinated and imbalaneed development among eastern, central and western regions. Higher vocational education in the eastern region has developed rapidly and has gained prominent overall superiority. Simultaneously, higher vocational education has developed at a normal speed in the middle region and has lagged behind in the western region. The paper analyses the quantity, distribution and college-running level of vocational colleges in the eastern, central and western regions, based on which some suggestions are put forward on how to establish and promote both intra-regional and inter-regional cooperation of vocational colleges and facilitate coordinated and balanced development of higher vocational education among the eastern, central and western regions.
