The General Introduction to Knowledge-based Industry

As one of the newly developed industries in the era of knowledge-based economy, knowledge-based service industry has great potential. However, in its primary stage there are still few theoretical researches in this field and there is not a definition that can be accepted by all. This paper works on its definition in the narrow sense. Furthermore, industy it analyzes the characteristics, functions and operating process of knowledge-based service industry.
