各大佬都对英特尔大力主导的＂超级本运动＂热情高涨,只不过,面临不同以往的产业格局和竞争形势,英特尔这次能复制其在PC上成功吗？

Jin Ming, President of China household applia nce cha in Suning Corporation, is surprised to find that heads of PC vendors came to him one after another early this year. They came for the same thing-showcasing Jin their super netbooks. This aroused Jin’s notice that it may be the right time to do something on super netbooks. The concept of super netbook is raised by chip giant Intel and PC vendor ASUS last May on Computex Taipei, a leading ICT exhibition. It is a continually evolving PC, which may blur the boundaries among PC, pad, and cellphone. It’s not shiny in hardware, but stressing the experience like pads: thin, fast opening, long standby, fast networking,various applications, etc. Now Intel is launching a marketing campaign which is even larger than Centrino, and all brands in the PC camp including Acer, Samsung, Lenovo, HP, Dell and Asus have followed behind. The PC camp has been silent for quite some years: it has been overwhelmed by the fast- growing mobile terminal market. Now Intel has adjusted its paces to launch the campaign on the strongest PC market, hoping to extend to pads and hybrid concept terminals. It remains to be seen whether Intel can duplicate the success this time.
