A Brief Analysis on European Union's Policy Trend that Green Barriers are Becoming a Means to Limit Chinese Enterprises

In recent years,using green barriers to limit Chinese enterprises has become an important policy trend of European Union.This article studies the literature of recent EU Science and Innovation policies and analyzes the main characteristics,reasons and impact of this new policy trend,and the main content is as follows:EU is raising its green barriers in Science and Innovation policies,such as raising the environmental standards of imported products,supporting its enterprises to realize ecological transformation,promoting higher environmental standards in international trade and commercial rules.As a result,Chinese enterprises may be highly influenced.The reason for this policy trend is that green barriers,as a means to limit Chinese enterprises,have several advantages compared to traditional means.In the future,sectors where large environmental gaps exist may be the most impacted,such as exportation of materials,mechanicals and electronics.The author’s recommendation is to closely monitor EU’s policy trend,to prepare foresight solutions and to promote ecological transformation of Chinese enterprises.
