The Role of Standards in Enterprises'Access to International Market

A discussion is made on the role of standards in enterprises' production and operation.By introducing international standards,WTO,and WTO/TBT,an analysis is made of the importance of standards to international trade.It is clarified that international standards are technical basis of WTO agreements and effective means of removing technical barriers of international trade.The role of standards in enterprises' access to international markets are made clear.That is,in the new economic situation,standards not only play an important role in enterprises' production and operation,but also serve as a bridge for enterprises to go to international markets.
