Technology roadmapping, as practice has proved to be an effective management approach, can provide useful inspiration.In the view of management approaches in the evolution of technology, the wisdom of technology roadmapping, compared with the time when it ap-peared shows it has very strong forward-looking, making its extensive and long-lasting application. By comparison of China and developed countries in practice of technology roadmapping, we can see there is a gap of our country in the aspects of organization and management and the level of inno-vation. Efforts to eliminate these gaps can improve the level of China's management of technological innovation.
